Established in 1985, The Singapore Accountancy Academy (SAA) had the vision to service the needs of the accountancy industry. It was appointed to be the education arm of Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore (ICPAS), our country's largest and one of the most established professional bodies, administering close to 24,000 members.
In February 2010, a new division was formed and corporatised under the brand name of SAA Global Education (SAA-GE) to allow greater agility to respond to the needs of the industry for quality professionals. It continues to be the training arm of ICPAS, keeping ICPAS members updated on the latest research and developments in the Accounting and Business field.
SAA, now SAA Global Education, has more than 26 years of track record as a leading accountancy education provider, attracting and developing talent for the accountancy profession on an international level. SAA Global Education has consistently produced a list of prize winners for the ACCA and CAT programmes in the Singapore and International categories. In recognition of the high passing rates, SAA-GE was awarded “Platinum status” by the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants UK. The institute receives over ten thousands applications to enter the professional accounting programmes every year.
Today, SAA Global Education provides diploma, degree and even post-graduate courses in Accounting, Business, Banking, Finance, Economics, Law and more. We continue to attract students from as far as Japan, China, Vietnam, Philippines to study at either our Aljunied or Raffles Quay campus.

SAA Global Education successfully renewed its Singapore Quality Class (SQC) certification and repositioned itself as the Education Arm of ICPAS.
2011
SAA Global Education was awarded the Four Year Edutrust certification.
2010
SAA Global Education was selected to be one of UOL International Programmes Registered Centre.
February 2010
In February 2010, as part of the changes made to meet the requirements of the Private Education Regulation 2009, a new division was formed and corporatised, and will operate under the brand name of SAA Global Education (SAA-GE). It continues to be the Training Arm of ICPAS.
2007
SAA is the only other school to achieve the Approved Learning Partner – Student Tuition Platinum Status given by ACCA UK in 2007.
2005
SAA City Campus re-located to 6 Raffles Quay.
March 2005
SAA was awarded the CaseTrust for Education.
November 2005
SAA was awarded the Singapore Quality Class – Private Education organisation.
1985
