FINANCIAL SCHEMES

Funding Schemes

CAT and ATTS Specialist Certificate in Taxation are approved courses for funding under the SDF, NTUC-SEP and Absentee Payroll funding schemes. Under this initiative, students are eligible to apply for SDF or NTUC-SEP grant for course fees as well as Absentee Payroll incentives.

*The period of funding given to the student is for him/her to fulfill the funding requirements of - attend class with a minimum of 75% attendance and also to sit for the examinations for all the papers in that CAT level.

Students are required to register their membership on their own (http://www.accaglobal.com/ via Apply Online) in order to be eligible to sit for examinations. SAA-GE will not be held responsible if student did not register their membership in time to sit for the examinations.

Skills Development Fund (SDF)

80% WDA support for company sponsored mature workers**

Applicants who are interested to apply for the SDF funding to apply via https://www.skillsconnect.gov.sg/web/guest/home and must inform the school via sdf@saage.edu.sg.

Application Procedure

Follow the simple steps below:

  1. Inform your HR to submit the application for you via WDA website https://www.skillsconnect.gov.sg/web/guest/home  at least 1 day before Course Commencement date. (Note: WDA will reply within 3 working days regarding status of application.)
  2. Fill up the enrolment form at SAA-GE and indicate choice of classes and submit to us. (Do not make payment at this point.)
  3. Once we have received the enrolment form, we will then send out the Tax Invoice, Confirmation Letter and Terms & Conditions to your Company
  4. Come down personally to SAA-GE to make payment using Company’s cheque and complete the enrolment formalities.

NTUC - Surrogate Employer Programme (NTUC-SEP)

NTUC Union member who are not company sponsored are eligible for this scheme.

Applicants who are interested to apply for the NTUC-SEP funding to apply via https://skillsupgrade.ntuc.org.sg and must inform the school via sdf@saage.edu.sg.

Application Procedure

Follow the simple steps below:

  1. Submit your application via NTUC website https://skillsupgrade.ntuc.org.sg/index.asp   at least 30 days before Course Commencement date. (Note: NTUC will reply within 3 weeks regarding status of application.)
  2. Once approved, come down personally to SAA-GE to make payment and complete the enrolment formalities.

Absentee Payroll

Trainees or Companies can claim Absentee Payroll after completion of the course, depending on hours attended in the CAT/ATTS course. Companies can apply for their employees who are Singaporeans or Singapore Permanent Residents.
